Beanie Wells Angry About His Lack of Playing Time

Beanie WellsBeanie Wells wants to know why, now that he's healthy, he's getting playing time as if he was still hurt.

The Arizona Cardinals couldn't wait to get Wells back after he needed surgery to repair a torn meniscus. But Arizona, a 41-10 loser to the Chargers Sunday, started Tim Hightower for the fourth consecutive game and went to Wells relatively infrequently.

And while everybody around the Cardinals camp wants to know who the quarterback is, Wells wants to know why he's not the running back.

"I'm not really worried about the quarterback situation,'' Wells told the Arizona Republic Monday. "I'm worried about my situation.''

There hasn't been any clarification from coach Ken Whisenhunt just what Wells' role is as the Cardinals go forward. The veteran had five carries and got just 19 yards in Week 4.
