Sturdy Titans Provide Randy Moss With One Last Chance

No one else wanted Randy Moss. He was out there on waivers for every team in the NFL to claim and add to their roster, and the Tennessee Titans were the only one of the 32 (31 if you take Minnesota out) that put in a claim. In an uncapped year, all it would have taken to add him was money, and only one team decided to do it. This is the kind of thing that should wake a guy up.

Emphasis on "should."

Some will say this is a desperation move for the Titans. And that the pressure is now on Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher to win, with the team having shelled out $3.39 million for half a year from a once-great wideout, who's past his prime and just got kicked off of two teams in the first two months of the season.

But the pressure's really on Moss himself. Because if he can't behave himself and play hard for Fisher, he's going to find himself out of second chances. And justifiably so.
