DAVIE, Fla. -- While the Miami Dolphins saw one of their injured rookie defensive backs return to the practice field Friday after missing the previous two days of practice, their opponent on Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals, look much more banged up.

Dolphins rookie cornerback Nolan Carroll was limited in practice with an ankle injury suffered in last week's 23-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and is listed as questionable, along with fullback Deon Anderson (tricep), who also was limited. Rookie free safety Reshad Jones, however, did not practice for the third straight day and has been ruled out with a knee injury.

For the Bengals, defensive end Jonathan Fanene (hamstring) has been ruled out and did not practice. Safety Roy Williams (knee) is doubtful and was limited after not practicing Wednesday and Thursday. Quarterback Carson Palmer (hip) practiced in full and was listed as probable along with wide receiver Terrell Owens (hand) linebacker Keith Rivers (foot), cornerback Leon Hall (hamstring) and offensive tackle Andre Smith (ankle). Halfback Brian Leonard (thigh), linebacker Brandon Jacobson (knee), safety Chinedum Ndukwe (knee) and cornerbacks Jonathan Joseph (ankle) and Morgan Trent (knee) all are questionable and were limited except for Leonard, who practiced in full.
