Maurice Jones-Drew Runs for Career-High 186 Yards in Win Over Titans

The game was big, and Maurice Jones-Drew was bigger.

But not only is that no surprise to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jones-Drew playing big and carrying a huge load has become routine in recent weeks.

That routine now has Jacksonville in first place in the AFC South.

Jones-Drew, a 2009 Pro Bowl selection in his fifth NFL season, rushed for a career-high 186 yards on 31 carries as the Jaguars took sole possession of first place in December for the first time in the nine-year history of the division.

"Obviously, Maurice Jones-Drew was special today and we rode Maurice hard today," Jaguars' Head Coach Jack Del Rio said.

Jones-Drew has rushed for 100 yards in five consecutive games.
