The Raiders on Thursday placed quarterback Bruce Gradkowski on injured reserve, ending his long-shot hopes to come back this season from his second shoulder separation. The move firmed up Jason Campbell's hold on the job of Raiders starting quarterback. The team signed veteran J.T. O'Sullivan to take Gradkowski's roster spot. Kyle Boller moved up to the No. 2 spot behind Campbell, who will start Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. O'Sullivan comes in as the third quarterback.
Gradkowski and Campbell, who began the season as the starter, had traded places as the team's No. 1 and No. 2 quarterbacks three times this season.
Gradkowski had been re-installed as the starter last Sunday but suffered his second shoulder separation of the season on the Raiders' final offensive play during a loss to Miami.
