The Jacksonville Jaguars took a huge step Sunday toward shedding their reputation as a team that struggles on the road.
They also took a big step toward their first AFC South title.
The Jaguars, picked by many before the season to finish below .500 and out of the playoffs for a third consecutive season, went on the road for a key AFC South victory Sunday, taking an early lead and holding off the Tennessee Titans, 17-6, at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn.
The Jaguars are now 7-5 after losing four of their first seven games by 20 or more points. The Titans are now 5-7.
Some thoughts on the game:
o. The Titans lost their fifth consecutive game. It's the fourth time in six seasons they have had a losing streak of five or more games.
