Rob Gronkowski will be spending Christmas Eve with a fan

Rob Gronkowski will be spending Christmas Eve with a fan

With one charity raffle, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will get the opportunity to give two wonderful Christmas gifts. For a lucky fan: the opportunity to spend Christmas Eve watching and hanging out with the Pats. For team owner Robert Kraft: A photograph of Gronkowski posing with someone wearing his jersey that won't necessitate an apology.

The young tight end is raffling off two tickets to the team's Christmas Eve game with the Miami Dolphins, an autographed football and No. 87 jersey, $100 for parking and food, and the opportunity to meet him after the game for some photos. The proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence, Mass.

Tickets are only $2. Though affordable, Tom Brady won't be entering the "A Very Gronkowski Christmas" raffle. "I don't need any more time around him," he told ESPN Boston.

The cause is worthy, so entering is a good thing. Best of all, if you win, you don't even have to go. Give the prize to one of the 500 children who are part of the Boys and Girls Club. Because, after all, in some cultures outside South Beach, spending a Christmas Eve with the Miami Dolphins could be the gift-giving equivalent of coal in the stocking.
