Cris Carter refuses to go on Indy?s zip line (video)

The 80-foot-high, 650-foot-long zip line that Indianapolis erected over a three-block section of downtown has been a big hit during Super Bowl week. Former NFL wide receiver, current ESPN analyst and perennial Hall of Fame hopeful Cris Carter does not share that sentiment.

Carter was hooked in and ready for his zip line adventure when he chickened out at the last second, much to the delight of his colleagues:

I'd have been equally uncomfortable with that zip line, so I can't take any shots at Carter for refusing to take off from six-stories high.

What's with his voice, though? I figured his "NFL Countdown" schtick was just that: schtick. Apparently he talks like that all the time? Or is it just when the camera's running?

Thanks, Yardbarker
