Tiquan Underwood, cut on Super Bowl eve, is a Patriot again

As it turns out, Tiquan Underwood only missed the worst part of being a New England Patriot.

After being released by the Patriots the night before Super Bowl XLVI, the wide receiver was re-signed by the Patriots on Tuesday, according to Ian R. Rapoport of the Boston Herald.

So, just to recap, Underwood was with the Patriots for Super Bowl festivities all week, participated in media day, let the nation fall in love with his haircut, was not officially a Patriot for the soul-crushing loss, but is back with the team two days after it. According to Pro Football Talk, he'll also get the same $44,000 game check every other Patriot received for playing in the Super Bowl (each Giant got $88,000).

All told, he's not out much. The only thing he missed was being able to share his misery with his teammates/brothers in the locker room. Which isn't nothing. But isn't the worst thing in the world, either.
