Well, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton just got a little ray of hope in his quest to put up a sequel to his historic first-game performance when he goes up against the Green Bay Packers' defense in Week 2 ? cornerback Tramon Williams is out with a shoulder injury and will be replaced by Sam Shields. Of course, there's still the matter of Clay Matthews, Charles Woodson, and the rest of that defense, but you take what you can get.
