Super Bowl Video: Maurice Jones-Drew, media mogul

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is at the Super Bowl site under less-than-ideal circumstances for him (i.e., he isn't playing in the game), but that doesn't mean that "Pocket Hercules" came to Indianapolis without a plan. We caught up with the NFL's leading rusher during media day, and asked him about the OCNN jacket he was wearing. We thought Jones-Drew was covering the week for one Chad Ochocinco, who was busy talking to the media as a member of the New England Patriots.

Apparently, we didn't have the whole story. In a Yahoo! Sports exclusive, the man we refer to as "The Other MJD" laid down a plan for world domination.

"I bought Chad out," Jones-Drew explained. "This is MJD-TV. We just bought him out this morning, so we've got to wear the OCNN stuff, and use his people, and his equipment and stuff, and [his people] are on a trial to see if they're going to keep their jobs."

Through the New York Giants' portion of media day, things weren't going so well. Jones-Drew was trying to ask head coach Tom Coughlin why he wasn't invited to Coughlin's golf tournament, but he couldn't get a word in edgewise.

"Because we couldn't get a question in with coach Coughlin, I think everybody might be fired. I was getting overtalked the whole time ? there was just no respect going on. My employees don't respect me; I don't know what's going on. We are MJD-TV ? we're bigger than this!"

His outrage aside, the burgeoning media mogul also talked about his respect for Peyton Manning, the Jaguars' 2011 season, the changes in the franchise's front office, how it feels to be at a Super Bowl without playing in it, his plans for the offseason, and just how his social media takeover might affect the NFL from here on out.

Jim Irsay, you have been warned. There's a new sheriff in town. And he might buy you out, too.
