The Indianapolis Colts kept their winless streak alive Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, thanks in part to this wacky fumble by Pierre Garon that the Bengals turned into an immediate touchdown.
And that's how you get to 0-6.
Was he attempting to lateral that ball? Did he learn nothing from Ronnie Brown? Yeah, the Colts weren't in a great spot, but it's not time yet for Cal/Stanford. Tuck it away, Pierre.
It wasn't just that play, either. The Colts displayed a general inability to hold on to the football in a few crucial situations. A field goal that would've tied the game with under six minutes to play was botched when the holder couldn't handle the snap. Dallas Clark had a ball stripped away from him in the first quarter, too.
Next week, Indy's at New Orleans. Let's get used to the idea of 0-7.
