Ochocinco hasn?t tweeted since September because he lost a bet

Ochocinco hasn?t tweeted since September because he lost a bet

Neither snow, nor rain, nor Bill Belichick, nor losing a bet with his fiancee, will keep Chad Ochocinco from his beloved Twitter.

The New England Patriots receiver hasn't sent a tweet since Sept. 24, depriving his 2.8 million followers updates of his current musical tastes and Starbucks orders (at last check, Spyro Gyra and a hot caramel macchiato, respectively). Hewas rumored to have been banned from the social media service by his coach following public criticism from former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi.

It turns out Ochocinco didn't get the boot from Bill, but from his fiancee, "Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada.Ochocinco tweeted from Lozada's account on Tuesday:

Ochocinco hasn?t tweeted since September because he lost a bet

Ochocinco's interpretation of cheating is so loose it's no surprise he signed with Belichick's Patriots.

Apparently, the Ochocinco and Lozada exchanged phones Tuesday for 24 hours as part of a -- no, sorry, I can't do this. It's one thing to recap why Ochocinco isn't on Twitter anymore, but getting into the middle of his made-for-television relationship with one of the few people on the earth who craves more attention than he does is too much, even for me.

If you're missing your Ocho Twitter fix, fear not: The receiver says he'll be back to tweeting on Wednesday night. We can only hope he comes out of his shell enough to reveal what sort of Madden bet precluded him from using the service for 10 days.

Thanks, Larry Brown Sports
