Tim Tebow is going to spend some time under center today for the Denver Broncos, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.
The Broncos are planning on running a few plays involving Tim Tebow today. And that's Tebow at quarterback.
The Broncos have had the "Tebow Package" in their playbook all season long. Offensive coordinator Mike McCoy has moved the "Tebow Package" up on his playcard today against the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers.
My first reaction is that I hope that the timing of the unveiling of the "Tebow Package" is coincidental to the appearance of these billboards. I'm sure it is, but I still fear a rash of billboard-purchasing around the league from fans who believe they can make better line-up decisions than the head coach.
The "Tebow Package" will be interesting, though. I'm going to assume that it's for short yardage and goal line situations, with maybe another couple of gimmicks thrown in. The Broncos are going to need the help against the defending Super Bowl champs today.
