It looked like nine members of the Steelers offense were expecting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to spike the ball here, just before the end of the first half. Hines Ward and Roethlisberger were the two guys who weren't thinking spike, but they didn't seem to be on the same page, either.
The result? Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan gets hit in the chest with a football.
The Steelers won handily, and it turned out not to be a terribly consequential play, but it was unique. It almost looked like a designed interception.
Just a minor hiccup in a fine day for the Steelers. They beat the Titans soundly, and looked complete doing it -- they ran the ball well without Rashard Mendenhall, they threw the ball well despite Roethlisberger's foot boo-boo, and their defense was solid against Chris Johnson and Matt Hasselbeck.
