In his first game against his former team, Richard Seymour drew an unnecessary roughness flag for taking down Tom Brady, the QB who was his teammate for eight seasons.
The play clock had run out, but Seymour either didn't hear or didn't heed the whistle. He spun a disinterested Brady down to the ground. On the same series, Seymour was flagged for a face mask grab of BenJarvus Green-Ellis. He was responsible for giving up 30 yards in a drive that ended in a Wes Welker touchdown.
Has someone told Seymour that he's not supposed to help the Patriots to the end zone anymore?
