Now, Cromartie has used some colorful words again in the aftermath of Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship -- only this time, he is getting some praise because of who his words were directed at.
Cromartie lashed out at NFLPA president DeMaurice Smith for choosing to use the phrase "we're at war" to describe current labor negotiations. Cromartie also criticized the owners for the stance they are taking.
"You got our head union rep acting like an a-hole," Cromartie told Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. "They got their guys acting like a-holes. So they just need to get their s**t together and just get it done."
Obviously aware of how his words might resonate with other players, Cromartie didn't seen too concerned.
