Paul Jones' daily Cheltenham Festival countdown stat
Big Zeb may have run poorly in last season's Tingle Creek Chase but two starts later he was still being crowned champion chaser thus hardening the outstanding record of the 'Tingle Creek' as the pre-eminent guide to the sportingbet.com Queen Mother Champion Chase which has now featured eight of the last ten winners.
Master Minded was super smooth in victory in this season's Tingle Creek Chase beating an aggressively ridden Petit Robin by eight lengths who was having his seasonal debut and has a best-fresh profile so probably ran right up to his best, with a staying-on Somersby back in third. Somersby's chance was certainly not aided by an error at a crucial stage but probably not as much as rearing up and falling on the walkway beforehand.
Master Minded and Somersby are clearly big players this season in a bid to extend the superb record of the Tingle Creek winner in the Champion Chase further still though Somerby's fans should take note that in the rematch at Ascot, the Victor Chandler Chase takes place over a furlong further than the Champion Chase and Master Minded had him in his pocket at that stage of the race.

Today's best bets, by Tony Paley
The long-distance handicap hurdle at Warwick today looks pretty competitive on paper but that should help with the price for Full Of Joy (3.25) who looks a likely winner for the AP McCoy-JP McManus-Jonjo O'Neill team. The selection looks the sort to improve for the step up in trip on looks and breeding and has been in excellent form this term.
Tipping competition, day four
Moidadembums was yesterday's biggest mover, thanks to Heez A Cracker (5-1) and Lockantanks (9-2). MikeytheEel was the highest-placed of those who picked Everaard (9-1). Chiefhk, sorry for mucking up your score yesterday. It should be correct now.
Today, we'd like your tips, please, for these races: 3.35 Ffos Las, 3.55 Warwick, 5.20 Kempton.
This week's prize is a copy of McCoy, the Racing Post's recently published record of the great jockey's career.
As ever, our champion will be the tipster who returns the best profit to notional level stakes of 1 at starting price on our nominated races, of which there will be three each day up until Friday. Non-runners count as losers. New entrants are welcome today but you must start on -9.
