Buccaneers vs. Saints: Josh Freeman, Tampa Bay Complete Turnaround

Drew Brees, Alex Magee The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' "Race to 10" might not bear any fruit, but at least there was a somewhat satisfying end to it. All season, coach Raheem Morris pushed for his young team to get to 10 wins and give themselves a chance to make the playoffs.

The Bucs (10-6) beat New Orleans, 23-13, on Sunday, but they need Green Bay and New York to lose to get into the playoffs.

Guess what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did? They beat a team with a winning record Sunday.

Tampa quarterback Josh Freeman completed 21 of 26 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns. He had a quarterback rating of 133.

Here are some thoughts on the game:

o. The Buccaneers will look back at the loss to the Lions as the key point in their season. Detroit had a 26-game road losing streak and came into Tampa and beat the Bucs in overtime, 23-20.
