Chargers Sign LB Brandon Moore

Linebacker Brandon Moore, who last played in the NFL three years ago, has joined the San Diego Chargers for their late-season bid for the playoffs.

The Chargers have had problems all season because of sometimes suspect tackling by their special teams coverage units and Moore's signing reflected the club's latest bid to strengthen that aspect of their team.
