David Thornton could get a chance to play this season after all.Thornton, a veteran linebacker for the Tennessee Titans, has yet to play this season after being activated from the physically unable to perform list in late November, but could play Sunday, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reported Thursday.
Thornton has been rehabilitating from hip surgery, and although he has been inactive five games since being taken off the PUP list, Fisher said he has practiced well.
"There is a possibility with that, but we just have to see how things shape up between now and then," Fisher said as the Titans prepared to play the Colts in Indianapolis Sunday. "He's been practicing every day and he's moving around well. He's been there. He's been there and available for us."
Thornton played with the Colts from 2002-2005.
