Dirk Koetter is expected to interview for the Denver Broncos' head coaching position this week.Koetter, the Jacksonville Jaguars' offensive coordinator the past four seasons, is scheduled to interview for the position Tuesday, Tania Ganguli of The Florida Times-Union reported via Twitter.
Denver Broncos Executive Vice President John Elway requested and received permission to interview Koetter late last week.
Koetter was the head coach at Arizona State and Boise State before joining the Jaguars.
The Broncos had at first pursued Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh, who on Friday became the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. Koetter is one of at least two AFC South offensive coordinators expected to interview for the position.
