Buffalo Bills safety Donte Whitner believes otherwise as on Thursday he talked openly at his locker about how frustrated he was with the state of the negotiations. By the sound of things, Whitner is looking at the distinct possibility of becoming a free agent after the season.
"It's not looking good right now," said Whitner, whose Bills take on the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium in Miami this Sunday. "There was supposed to be another conversation today, but if things continue the way that they're going, obviously I'm going to have to hit the free agent market and see my true value."
