INDIANAPOLIS - Peyton Manning wasn't ready to reflect. Not yet.So, while the 11-time Pro Bowl quarterback said there may come a time to consider the Indianapolis Colts' 2010 season - a season in which the team overcame a slew of injuries to win a seventh AFC South title in nine seasons - something of a success, he said Saturday night wasn't that time.
Too soon, he said. Way too soon.
And a 17-16 last-second loss to the New York Jets in an AFC Wild Card playoff game?
It hurt too much, Manning said. Way too much.
"Anytime you lose on a last-second field goal in a playoff game, it stings," Manning said after Nick Folk's 32-yard field goal as time expired knocked the Colts from the post-season in front of 65,332 at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis.
That was pretty much the consensus around the Colts Saturday night.
Yes, they fought through adversity all season.
