Dirk Koetter Among Candidates for Broncos' Head Coaching Position

Dirk Koetter has emerged as a candidate for the Denver Broncos' head coaching vacancy.

Koetter, the Jacksonville Jaguars' offensive coordinator the past four seasons, is expected to interview for the position soon, Broncos executive vice president John Elway confirmed Friday evening via Twitter.

Elway tweeted that he had requested and received permission from the Jaguars to interview Koetter.

Koetter was the head coach at Arizona State and Boise State before joining the Jaguars.
