For Ravens to Best Steelers, Joe Cool Must Become Big Ben's Equal

Only two of eight quarterbacks left with a shot at winning Super Bowl XLV were not drafted by their teams -- the Bears' Jay Cutler and the Seahawks' Matt Hasselbeck. And one will knock the other out on Sunday in Chicago.

The Saints' Drew Brees last season halted a string of seven consecutive Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks who were drafted by their teams. The prevailing and preferable NFL quarterback track to a championship is draft one, groom one, roll with one.

This is the current approach of both Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

The Steelers are further up that track. Ben Roethlisberger has already won two championships. He is 8-2 in postseason games. He has won six straight games against the Ravens. And Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco has never beaten Roethlisberger -- it is five consecutive victories in this matchup for Big Ben and counting.
