CHICAGO -- The very first thing Chicago coach Lovie Smith mentioned was his team's fast start. Then he credited the offensive line. Then the running game. Then the tight end.
And finally, "Of course, it starts with Jay Cutler."
Best for last? That might be something of a stretch. The Bears were dominant across the board in grounding the Seattle Seahawks back to reality. Chicago's 35-24 win in Sunday's NFC divisional round wasn't nearly as close as the score might suggest. The balanced Bears had 437 yards of offense, including 170 on the ground, led 28-0 and held the Seahawks to just 114 yards through three quarters.
