Michael Vick Will Answer to Falcons Coaches at Pro Bowl

It is a News Flash. Mike Smith, the Atlanta Falcons coach, is going to tell what Michael Vick what to do.

That's right, Vick is with the Falcons again, sort of.

Smith and his staff were picked to coach the NFC in the Pro Bowl and Vick made the team as the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Vick is actually a big reason why Smith is coaching the Falcons. The whole Atlanta operation went down the tubes with Vick's dog-fighting escapades, which led to the early departure of coach Bobby Petrino.

Smith was hired to clean up the mess.

There will actually be seven real Falcons in the game: return man Eric Weems, receivers Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez, running backs Michael Turner and Ovie Mughelli, quarterback Matt Ryan and defensive end John Abraham.

The Falcons have the second most Pro Bowl players this year. New England leads with eight. That didn't mean much on the field this past weekend. Both the Falcons and Patriots were No. 1 seeds and they lost.

Smith will be joined by offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey, who was named The Sporting News coordinator of the Year. Smith was named TSN Coach of the Year.

Vick had a spectacular comeback season with the fourth highest quarterback rating in the NFL (100.2). He threw for 3,018 yards and had 21 touchdown passes and six interceptions.
