Kicker Jay Feely's foot, or more accurately, feet carried the Arizona Cardinals to their first win in eight games, defeating Denver 43-13 on Sunday to spoil the debut of Broncos interim head coach Eric Studesville.

Feely kicked five field goals, ran 5 yards for a touchdown on a fake field goal and then added four conversions to account for 25 points for the Cardinals, who snapped a seven-game losing streak.

The Cardinals also got an efficient game from quarterback John Skelton, who outplayed Broncos veteran Kyle Orton in his first NFL start along with a big game from running back Tim Hightower. He ran for 148 yards and a pair of TDs against a Broncos defense that gradually wore down.

Here's some thoughts on the game:

o. The Broncos may want to consider giving rookie quarterback Tim Tebow a chance next week, at Oakland. Heck, they probably should have given him a chance halfway through this game because Orton had an awful game. Orton was intercepted for a third time in the late going, by linebacker Daryl Washington. He was celebrating with an extended arm holding the ball as he neared the goal line when running back Lance Ball tomahawked Washington's arm, forcing a fumble that defensive lineman Darnell Dockett fell on in the end zone for a touchdown.
