RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks are in position to win the NFC West, but to say their position is enviable would be overstating it.They have to take on Atlanta Sunday, and in 2010, that's the equivalent of trying to drive in a blizzard. It can be done, but there's no room for error.
The Falcons aren't dominant in any team statistical category, but they aren't deficient in any category, either. Their quarterback Matt Ryan has been the model of efficiency with 28 touchdowns thrown against just eight interceptions.
"(Ryan) has a lot of poise and they don't have many turnovers,'' said Seattle defensive coordinator Gus Bradley on Wednesday. "He doesn't throw any bad balls. They've been consistent - first down, second down, third down. They're a very disciplined team. And they carry that over on third down as well.''
