The Carolina Panthers fell to 1-12 on Sunday with a 31-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons and the injured reserve list grew with two new additions. Defensive end Everette Brown is out for the season with a broken wrist. Linebacker Jason Williams has a torn ACL."I lost count," coach John Fox said when asked the number of players on IR. "Teams that stay healthy usually have good records. The thing you need to have in this league is to stay healthy."
The Panthers started the season with a roster makeover because of budget cuts and things have gone down the drain with the injuries, which included star running back DeAngelo Williams and quarterback Matt Moore.
Brown, who in his second season, was starting to come around at defensive end. He is not the biggest defensive end, but his quickness around the corner could cause some issues.
"I think Everette has had a good year," Fox said. "He has been a little up and down. He became more productive here as of late."
