INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie will miss Sunday's game against the San Diego ChargersCollie, who played a little less than a half against the New England Patriots this past Sunday after missing the previous week's game with a concussion, is being held out as a "precautionary measure," according to the team.
"After being cleared medically to participate at New England, he encountered symptoms from his previous injury at Philadelphia (concussion), though there was no recurrence at New England," the team said in a statement.
Colts Safety Bob Sanders, out since the first game of the season with a biceps injury, also will miss the game against the San Diego Chargers at Lucas Oil Stadium, with running back Joseph Addai (neck) scheduled to practice this week on a non-contact basis for "conditioning purposes."
