Packers vs. Vikings: Blowout Perhaps Seals Fates of Brett Favre, Brad Childress

Aaron Rodgers The Green Bay Packers absolutely destroyed the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, earning a big NFC North win and giving Brett Favre an ugly loss in his last game against his old team.

Green Bay is the NFC North leader and looks like a Super Bowl contender, while the Vikings couldn't get anything going offensively and are out of the playoff race.

A few thoughts on the game:

o. The Vikings' first offensive series was a mess, featuring Adrian Peterson getting stuffed at the line of scrimmage, Favre throwing incomplete, a false start and Favre scrambling around, not finding anything open and sliding instead of even trying to make something happen downfield. From there, the Vikings punted. That set the tone.
