Steven Jackson: I'll 'Definitely Be Out There Sunday'

Steven Jackson says he will "definitely be out there Sunday" when the Rams host Carolina, despite undergoing surgery on a broken finger Monday.

Jackson suffered a break in his left ring finger during Week 7 at Tampa Bay, then had a pair of pins inserted to stabilize the injury. He still rushed for 110 yards and caught 2 passes for an additional 35 yards in the Rams' 18-17 loss to the Bucs.

"It's unfortunate that it had to happen," Jackson said Thursday, according to STLtoday.com, "but it's on the left hand. So it's not as big a deal as if it was on my right hand."
