Arian FosterMatt Schaub threw two first-half touchdown passes and the Houston Texans' defense played their best game of the season as the Texans beat Tennessee 20-0 in Houston on Sunday.

Schaub's touchdown tosses gave the Texans a 14-0 first-half lead, and the Texans' defense - which entered the game ranked 32nd in pass defense - dominated the Titans' rookie quarterback Rusty Smith throughout.

The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for Houston and the Titans lost their fourth consecutive game.

The two teams are now tied for last in the AFC South at 5-6.

Some thoughts on the game:

o. Andre Johnson and Cortland Finnegan were ejected in the fourth quarter. Johnson, the Texans' Pro Bowl wide receiver, and Finnegan - a Pro Bowl cornerback for the Titans - were ejected after instigating a bench-clearing altercation with 7:53 remaining in the fourth quarter.

o. The Texans completely dominated offensively and defensively, with the Titans never able to get moving offensively. Rookie Rusty Smith made his first NFL start and after struggling early never was able to get into much of a rhythm.
