Chad Henne injuryMIAMI -- Chad Henne left Sunday's matchup against the Titans late in the third quarter with a knee injury, joining Miami's Chad Pennington and Tennessee's Kerry Collins on the sideline after they both suffered injuries earlier in the game. Henne did not return.

Henne was hit low and awkwardly as he tried to throw a pass to Ricky Williams. He stayed down for spell, and then walked off the field under his own power to the trainer's table behind the bench to be examined.

In order to keep Henne eligible to return, the Dolphins kept emergency third quarterback Tyler Thigpen off the field and ran strictly out of the wildcat formation until the third quarter came to an end -- NFL rules state that if a team's emergency QB enters the game prior to the fourth quarter, that team's No. 1 and No. 2 quarterback cannot return to the came.

On the first play following Henne's injury, the Dolphins tried a little trickery with Brown pitching it to Brandon Marshell, who then attempted a deep pass to Patrick Cobbs. The play resulted in an incompletion.
